Raymond James welcomes advisor managing $260 million to investment program at FNBO

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James Financial Institutions Division (FID) recently welcomed financial advisor Jason Buford to First Investments & Planning, located at FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha), according to Stephen Kruchten, president of FID. With this new alignment, Buford will provide clients with investment and wealth management services through Raymond James Financial Services, Inc.

Buford will operate out of FNBO’s Overland Park, Kansas, office. He was previously affiliated with UMB Financial Services, where he managed approximately $260 million in client assets.

“Jason brings a strong commitment to helping clients navigate complex financial decisions and developing tailored strategies to achieve their unique financial goals,” said Grace Austin, senior vice president and North division director of FID. “We’re proud to support him in this exciting next chapter and look forward to equipping him with the robust tools and resources necessary to serve his clients.”

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Buford’s background spans personal banking, financial planning and comprehensive wealth management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Columbia College.
